Pineapple

Origin: Pineapples are thought to have originated from the rain forests of Brazil and South America.

Flavor Profile: Pineapples have a juicy tropical flavor, similar to a combination of mango and coconut!

How To Eat: Miami Fruit pineapples are picked nearly ripe, which makes these incomparable to the mass produced imported ones you find at your local grocery store. Once yellow and fragrant, remove the crown by twisting. Next top and tail the fruit. Then cut off the skin with a knife and chop the main fruit body into wheels. Enjoy raw, juiced, or grilled!

We have many different varieties, and so the appearances and colors may vary from one pineapple to another as well as throughout the season. 

You may receive one or multiple pineapple varieties, depending on what is available the week we ship your box.

The total weight of the box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:  

 - Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds.
- Large Box contains up to 8-10 lbs. 
- Extra Large Box contains up to 16-20 lbs. 

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
