Love my Hummingbird

Over all I love this machine, there are a few small things I’ve noticed, I have had this happen twice and now I tend to hold the top of the hopper when putting in certain items, but the hooper will slightly get pushed upwards so I thought a locking into place mechanism would be a bonus. I’m 5”3 and my counter is slightly lower and I think taller people wouldn’t have this happen.

My inside press plate already has a crack in it , I’m the only one using and caring for this machine and I’m very gentle.

The BEST cold pressed juicer for an array of volumes

After owning a commercial juice business for almost 9 years, I’ve used every juicer/brand under the sun. NOTHING beats Goodnature. I didn’t think I could love a juicer more than Goodnature’s X-1, until I tried Hummingbird! In addition to its sleek design, its functionality is incredible! It has all the perfect features of many of their juicers rolled into one for home and commercial use.

Upon setup and pressing my first juice recipe, I was staring at Hummingbird and excitedly yelled, “that’s it?!” I couldn’t believe how easy it was. Even when it came time to clean up. Then I remembered what company I was dealing with so of course, that’s it. Easy. No mess. Perfection. The way it should be. But Goodnature already knows that.

I love this juicer so much and it’s truly worth every penny. From its cute jingle that greets you upon powering up to the beautiful, fresh pressed nutrition it creates, I recommended Hummingbird (and Goodnature) to everyone.

Total game changer

Here I am thinking my previous juicer was #1. When I tell you this has taken my business to another level. Although I am a small business the ease of this machine is amazing. I don’t have to chop fruit and vegetables to small pieces. I’m not standing for 4 and 5 hours to get 20 bottles. If you don’t have one you need it in your kitchen or business. I’ll be ordering extra parts to make the process even better. No more pouring juices in a back 2 and 3 times to get only juice. Thank you Good Nature!!!!

I must say it was worth the wait!!!
First the unboxing. This product was packaged with love and care! The juicer was packed to withstand the harshest delivery process. Once I unboxed my juicer the machine was absolutely gorgeous! It was well crafted and beautifully made.
Once I started making juice. The juicer was easy to use and the clean up was amazing. It took me less than 5 minutes to clean. This is the best juice I’ve ever made. The juice ingredients were so nicely blended and satisfying. I will recommend this juice to my friends, family members and colleagues.

Fantastic

I have the Pure and Nama both for different reasons. The hummingbird does both . The juice is smooth like the Pure and you can juice a lot with no worries like the Nama. I love it. Plus it’s easy to clean and quiet . The grinder cuts thru produce like water. It was worth the wait. The juice is amazing.

Goodnature Hummingbird it’s Amazing and well worth the wait. It’s simple to use , fast and delivers smooth and clean cold press juice. This is my third Goodnature Juicer. The CT7, X-1 mini and now the Hummingbird Pro XL. The Hummingbird cleanup is a snap and the time between press cycles is really valuable as you can clean, prep the next batch or just relax. Highly, Highly Recommend

Stunningly good juicer

I've used the Super Angel Twin-Gear juicer, Pure, Norwalk 275, Goodnature M-1 and now the Hummingbird XL.

I don't feel it necessary to compare Goodnature juicers against masticating gear juicers (i.e., Super Angel) or the Pure/Norwalk as the benefits, I believe, are obvious.

That being said, Hummingbird is—at minimum—evolutionary, and in many ways completely revolutionary, compared to the M-1.

The new grinder is certainly revolutionary. Little-to-no need to cut vegetables before grinding, much faster grinding speed, and less physical effort required to grind, all combine to bring even greater time savings and ease-of-use when compared to the M-1.

Surprisingly, the use of semi-transparent plastic in the Hummingbird I also consider revolutionary. When grinding, the ability to glance into the press chamber allows me to more easily fill the press chamber faster. I would not have thought this simple change would have such a huge "quality-of-life" impact when juicing. But it did for me.

The Hummingbird’s quietness in operation also yielded unexpected “quality-of-life” benefits. The Hummingbird allows me to juice with my wife and young daughter in the room; I no longer need to plan my day around when I can juice.

The “intelligent press” feature in the Hummingbird are also excellent “quality-of-life” improvements that protect me from making mistakes that could—though rare with the M-1—cause lots of headaches. Overfilling the press chamber and making a mess, and having a “too-mushy recipe” overflow when pressing are, in my experience, a thing of the past with due to the Hummingbird’s “intelligent press”. The Hummingbird is a very forgiving juicer—especially for those new to traditional 2-stage cold press juicers.

Perhaps the “intelligent press” is also responsible for the improvements in yield, which are notable. Beyond actual yield measurements, the pulp is bone dry and has reduced color saturation, indicating to me that more of the fruits and vegetables are going into the juice itself—rather than staying in the wet colorful pulp.

The new "reduced-complexity" grinding chamber is another excellent evolutionary improvement from the M-1. Less parts, and even easier to disassemble and clean (and that's saying a lot since the M-1 grinder chamber is very easy to clean), helps save time when juicing.

The M-1 was an excellent juicer that I believed could not be improved upon. That Goodnature was able to 1) recognize the areas that could be improved, and 2) deliver on those improvements at a competitive price, is very impressive engineering.

Goodnature spent time really being thoughtful of the process and the little things to make the process easier. Even the way the juice catcher is soooo easy to pour out, the little opening to put stuff in from the top, awesome! Also, I really love the rubber mat!

The overflow warning, the ability to speed up the press when needed, that ability to walk away, being able to easily lift the lid to fix an over flow.

My first batch was 5 gallons of green juice, I put it straight to the test with every difficult veggie and fruit .

Recipe: cucumbers, celery, green apples, collard greens, spinach, ginger, lemons, limes, mint leaves, a couple of oranges, 1/2 pineapple (for the entire batch).

Turned out amazing and the taste is different than on the pure juicer. I could really taste each ingredient, the other thing I noticed ( besides not having to strain it before and after, like pure juicer) was that it didn't separate. In the fridge, even 2 days later, almost no separation, which means that when I freeze them, they will continue to look beautiful.

I purchased the Pro XL for business and Pro for home. I love the humming bird pro for my family juice needs. I love how petite but powerful it is. Clean up is a breeze and it is fun to use! It fits nicely under the cabinets on my counter. The juice quality is excellent!

Now that I have this juicer, I no longer have to do separate straining It’s less prep. It’s easy to clean up and most importantly the quality of my juice is awesome. I love the aesthetics of the hummingbird. I love how much it weighs how easy it is to move and that I have a commercial cold pressure true cold pressure juicer.

I began my juicing journey in 2001 and have used just about every juicer on the market, including the Goodnature M1. I couldn’t imagine how Goodnature could improve on the already incredible M1 design—but they didn’t just improve it, they skipped a few generations ahead and gave us the Hummingbird!

In the last two days, I’ve juiced around 200oz, and working with this machine has been an absolute pleasure. It’s incredibly simple to operate, delivers an unbelievable juice yield—one press gave me 60oz!—and the cleanup is effortless with no mess at all.

A huge thank you to Goodnature and their team for creating such a spectacular, truly authentic cold press machine!

Great but could see improvement

The grinding plate is not as sturdy as on the M-1. This means the plate can be shifted as produced is pushed down the chute and onto the plate making it unlevel. This then causes the plate to touch the top part of the hopper over the plate and you can see grind marks.

It's enjoyable and easy to use.

If I were to make some "engineering changes" it would be more "beefier" plastic(s) where produce is introduced into the grinder. Where pulp is extracted through the "throat" I'd make it larger. Rather than a single hydraulic/electric press compression I'd utilize two hydraulic/electric presses. After reviewing other juicers this one is primo in comparison.
