The Immune Booster Juice

Ingredients
orange (peeled) | 10.77 oz | 305 g | 2 1/2 medium oranges |
grapefruit (peeled) | 4.8 oz | 136 g | 1/2 grapefruit |
lime | 1.7 oz | 48 g | 1 lime |
lemon | 1.5 oz | 43 g | A bit less than 1/2 medium lemon |
ginger | 0.85 oz | 24 g | 3 inches ginger root |
zinc (liquid) | 0.07 fl oz | 2 ml | 1/2 teaspoon |
honey | 1 oz | 28 g | 2 tablespoons (28 grams) |
turmeric | 0.35 oz | 10 g | 3/4 tablespoon (10 grams) |
Directions

Wash the produce thoroughly.

Peel the grapefruit and the orange.

Weigh the ingredients.

Quarter the lemon and lime (leaving skin on) and place directly into the press. If you don’t have a juice press, peel and juice with the rest of the ingredients.

Grind the peeled grapefruit and orange, ginger and turmeric, then press.

Add the honey and zinc to a bowl and slowly whisk in the juice until dissolved.

In testing, we used this brand of liquid Zinc, because is it pretty much tasteless in the recipe: Eidon Liquid Zinc If you are looking for an organic option, we recommend the Zinc from Global Healing , if using this one, just reduce the serving size to match the recommended dose on the bottle (1 ml).

Using local, raw honey or Manuka honey are the best options when it comes to helping with allergies and boosting your immunity.
