Refreshing Watermelon Lime Juice Recipe
This cold-pressed watermelon juice recipe infuses mint and lime to balance out the sweetness of the watermelon, making it a crushable favorite.
Servings:
1
Serving Size:
12 oz
Ingredients
watermelon (seedless) | 15 oz |
lime | 0.2 oz |
mint leaves | 0.1 oz |
Directions
Wash the produce thoroughly.
Remove the watermelon rind and cut into cubes; weigh the produce. Cut the lime into fifths (leaving the skin on).
If you have a juice press, place both the watermelon and the lime directly into the press. If you don’t have a juice press, peel the lime and juice both the watermelon and the lime with the rest of the ingredients.
Grind remaining ingredients together and press.
Pro tips
Watermelon is a mushy fruit, so take care not to overfill the press to avoid overflow.
Add a little beet juice to brighten the color!
You can actually leave the watermelon skin on if you prefer (there are nutrients in the skin) but the juice will look less vibrant and will mellow the flavor a bit. If your watermelon is not that sweet, you will want to peel it.
If mint stems are tender and green, you can use them as well as the leaves!
