Parsley Lemon Green Juice (Great for Weight Loss)
Bright and herbaceous with a touch of earthiness, this low calorie juice recipe is tasty and great for weight loss.
Ingredients
parsley | 1.7 oz | 48 g | 1 cup chopped parsley |
lemon | 1.8 oz | 51 g | 1/2 medium lemon |
cucumber | 10.8 oz | 306 g | 1 large cucumber |
spinach | 5.24 oz | 149 g | 5 cups spinach |
salt (optional) | 0.02 oz | 0.6 g | 1 small pinch salt |
Directions

Wash and weigh produce.

Quarter the lemon (leaving skin on) and place directly into the press. If you don’t have a cold press juicer, peel the lemon and juice with the rest of the ingredients.

If you have a juice press, grind the remaining ingredients together and press.

Mix in salt to the finished juice (optional).

Your cucumbers should be dark green with minimal to no yellow spots – these spots tend to develop once the cucumber becomes overly ripe.

Juice the cucumber with the peel on (remove if not organic), the peel contains beta-carotene, an important antioxidant that the body converts to Vitamin A.

We used standard parsley, but Italian parsley (aka flat-leaf parsley) is acceptable as well.
