A tasty blast of pineapple, orange, lime, ginger and carrot. This rich-in-vitamin C juice recipe is great for your immune system and goes down super smooth.
Ingredients
orange (peeled) | 7.33 oz | 208 g | 1 1/2 medium oranges |
pineapple | 9 oz | 255 g | 1 1/2 cups of pineapple chunks (1/5 pineapple) |
lime | 0.66 oz | 19 g | 1/3 lime |
ginger | 0.2 oz | 6 g | 3/4 inch of ginger root |
carrot | 1.66 oz | 47 g | 3/4 medium carrot |
Directions
-
Wash produce thoroughly.
-
Remove the green crown from the pineapple, peel the orange, and remove end numbs from the carrots.
-
Weigh the produce.
-
If you have a juice press, leave the skin on both the pineapple and the lime. If you don’t have a juice press, peel the pineapple and lime and juice with the rest of the ingredients.
-
Place the lime directly into the press and grind and press the remaining produce together.
Pro tips
-
Citrus and pineapple are mushy fruits, so take care not to overfill the press to avoid overflow.
-
Orange peels have a bitter flavor, so be sure to remove them before juicing the oranges.
