Cucumber Green Juice with Apple, Kale & Lemon
Is there a better way to cool off than with a crisp glass of green juice - more specifically, fresh cucumber juice? Make this delicious cucumber-based recipe.
Ingredients
cucumber | 10 oz | 284 g | 1 large cucumber |
green apple | 7.7 oz | 218 g | 1 large apple |
kale | 3 oz | 85 g | 1 1/3 cups chopped kale |
lemon | 1.2 oz | 34 g | 1/3 medium lemon |
Directions

Wash and weigh the produce.

Quarter the lemon (leaving skin on) and place directly into the press. If you don’t have a juice press, peel the lemon and juice with the rest of the ingredients.

Grind remaining ingredients together and press.

When trying to source the best cucumbers for juicing, search for medium-to-large cucumbers that are firm without any soft spots or blemishes.

Your cucumbers should be dark green with minimal to no yellow spots – these spots tend to develop once the cucumber becomes overly ripe. If your cucumbers have wax on the outside, make sure to properly remove the wax with a safe veggie wash.

Leave the stems on the kale – they typically contain a lot of flavor and juice. Coming from the farm, kale will have dirt on the leaves and needs to be thoroughly washed.
