Holy Basil (Tulsi) Green Juice Recipe
This seasonal green juice features holy basil leaf (tulsi) and is paired with other fine herbs for depth of flavor, resulting in a light, refreshing blend.
Ingredients
holy basil leaf extract (tulsi) | 0.5 ml | g | 15 drops (1 serving) | |
pear | 8.7 oz | 247 g | 1 1/2 medium pear |
green apple | 7.7 oz | 218 g | 1 1/4 medium green apple |
snap pea | 3.3 oz | 94 g | about 12 snap peas |
spinach | 1.6 oz | 45 g | 1 1/2 cups spinach |
parsley | 0.33 oz | 9 g | about 1/4 cup chopped parsley |
basil | 0.27 oz | 8 g | about 9 leaves |
lemon | 0.29 oz | 8 g | 1/8 lemon |
tarragon | 0.1 oz | 3 g | 1 large pinch tarragon |
Directions

Wash and weigh the produce.

Quarter the lemon (leaving skin on) and place directly into the press. If you don’t have a juice press, peel the lemon and juice with the rest of the ingredients.

Grind remaining ingredients, including the herb stems, and press.

Add the holy basil leaf extract to the juice and mix.
