Delectably fruity with the perfect balance of earthy and sweet, this Carrot Pineapple Orange Juice packs a punch of health benefits.
Ingredients
pineapple | 8.4 oz | 238 g | 1/5 pineapple (1 1/2 cups pineapple chunks) |
orange (peeled) | 5.8 oz | 164 g | 1 1/4 medium oranges |
carrot | 6.25 oz | 177 g | 3 medium carrots |
lime | 0.8 oz | 23 g | 1/2 lime |
ginger | 0.25 oz | 7 g | 1 inch chunk ginger root |
Directions
-
Wash produce thoroughly.
-
Prep the pineapple by removing the green crown and cut into chunks. Peel the oranges and remove the top ends of the carrots.
-
Weigh out the ingredients.
-
Quarter limes (peel on) and place directly into the press. If you do not have a juice press, peel the lime and juice with the rest of the ingredients.
-
Grind the remaining ingredients together and press.
Pro tips
-
Garnish with a twirled lime peel, fresh mint leaves or orange slices to take your presentation up a notch.
-
If you’re using a Goodnature juice press, remove the green crown from the pineapple but leave the skin on. The skin contains a high concentration of valuable nutrients.
-
We like to remove the top ends of the carrots because it’s tough to remove all of the dirt.
-
Orange peels are bitter, so be sure to remove them before juicing.
